Good looking out, fam! I don’t remember the exact location of VIM, and had to ask about Woolworth’s (was between 53 & 54). In my mind they were all pretty close to eachother – – VIM, Woolworth’s, Dee & Dee or Mini Max or whatever…LOL…
V.i.m was on 54 & 56 st
actually – this woolworth was on the south side of 5th ave -going the direction of 60th street and when you walk in on the right hand side in the store you could sit down and have a cup of joe(coffeee) and a sandwich.
yup – feel old now.
lived there 1952 to1972 . great life
