Ego is a touchy subject with many artists.

Why?

Because they don’t want to hurt it.

Many artists believe that a healthy dose of ego is required for their success and that it’s quite possibly the very thing that separates them from the rest of the pack.

I disagree. But…

Self-confidence and a firm belief in your awesomeness is required.

But not ego.

You can either have too much ego or too little, either one can be a detriment to your career. And it’s a fine line between the two.

True Romance

Released in 1993, True Romance is an American romantic crime film written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott.  The movie features a star studded cast including Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Chris Penn, Michael Rapaport, Tom Sizemore, Samuel L. One of the best stories I ever read. My older sister had a copy lying around the house for as long as I can remember. When I was maybe 12 or 13 I finally found time to pick it up and read.
