Old School Chilling
Dope pic by Jamel Shabazz. Reminds of me of my pops cooling with his peoples in front of his store on Nostrand Ave when I was a little kid in the 1980s.

The Church of Saint Michael and School Building
Here’s a crazy old shot of the Church of St. Michael and the school building on 4th Avenue in Brooklyn, which appears to have been shot from the south side of 43rd street between 4th and 5th avenues. I’m guessing this was taken some time in the 1930s. If I am not mistaken, the Catholic school has been replaced by a public school, but the church is still in full effect.
Urban Decay in New York City
As crazy as it might sound, a part of me misses the days when large portion of New York looked like this scene, which appears to be from the 70s (maybe early 80s?).
World Trade Center
Just stumbled on this photo by Paul Kirk.

Trinity Lutheran Church
A shot of Trinity Lutheran Church on the northeast corner of 46th Street & 4th Ave. If I had to guess, I’d say this one was taken sometime in the late 1950s/early 1960s. Photographer unknown.
